Sumptuous and huge piece in snow white color made entirely in Cluny lace done with bobbins and assembled by hand representing a setting of acanthus leaves, scrolls and daisies.
The scalloped edge is finished by picots and also entirely made of lace from Le Puy en Velay made in bobbin. The linen thread used is extremely fine.
Splendor entirely hand-embroidered with fairylike fingers!
The work is amazing and rich details. Work that represents hundreds of hours for such a masterpiece!
The part of the 1900, perhaps earlier. We will also consider this as a table runner for a table style table monastery.
This piece is excellent condition, just a few discrete broken bridles.
Unfortunately the photos do not do justice to it (probably due to bad luminosity current), it is much more beautiful in real.
