Exceptional  bedcover in pure linen (nearly white),  with so much work involved, that it is hard to describe.There are panels with point de Venise that depicts in the central medaillon 3 nudes  and panels with floral motifs across the pillow area. Surrounding all of this, there is elaborated drawn thread work and exquisite white-work. All hand-made with expert hands !

This piece is in perfect condition, just missing two feston bridges on the drawn thread river (easy for an embroiderer to remake it).

Circa 1890-1900. Has passed with success the washing and is ready to be used, as a bedspread or tablecloth, or hanging on wall as a bedding head.
